This Can Be Beautiful, Book Launch (and giveaway!)

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Tiffany Pratt (HGTV star, creative genius), over the last year. Our first encounter was a year ago at the One Of A Kind Show – I was sitting in my booth and out of the corner of my eye I saw her bright mane of hair coming down the aisle at the show …and something made me jump out and scream “Tiffany PRATT!” out of excitement. I rarely do that. In fact, I can’t think of a time I have ever done that.

Since that moment of me screaming her name in the aisle of the One Of A Kind Show, we’ve become friends. She is ridiculously genuine, and bursting with awesomeness and creativity. What you see on the screen is what you get in person. Adding to her resume, she’s now added author-with the book “This Can Be Beautiful”. (Sold at Amazon or Indigo.)I got my paws on a copy of the book last week and read it immediately – and was in awe. The book is a game changer. Epic. Nothing is out on the market like this. It’s empowering, uplifting, inspirational and more. When our world is filled with people telling you that you can’t do things, Tiff is saying “You CAN do it.”  and when you’re reading the book, in your head you’re shouting back “YES I CAN!”. It’s refreshing. There’s enough room for everyones creativity and she’s the goddess at the front cheering you on. This is part creative book, part craft, part inspirational.

First of all, here are some photos from her book launch over the weekend!

Next, some lucky person is going to win a signed copy of her book! I personally bought a few at the launch to give to people I love, and you dear reader are one of those. Ream more!

What makes me the happiest is when I see my kids having fun with each other – they can make each other erupt in the best belly laughs that make everyone around them smile and laugh too.

Let’s be honest the thing that truly makes me happiest is my kids and my husband. Simple things like road trips or hanging out at home on the deck. Doesn’t get better then that!!

What makes me happiest is drinking a cup of a tea hot. It’s the little things.

My children when they have the biggest, no holds barred belly laughs. I start to giggle and eventually the whole family is laughing. It is the best ever!

What makes me happy? When both kids are asleep by 8pm and I still have a full 2 hrs to accomplish something! Even though it may just be clearing out my pvr.

Tiffany is certainly one of a kind. She’s so positive, encouraging, and honest. Love these qualities in a person! Epic is an amazing way to describe her new book. I’d love to have it in my home – it would bring major colour into my space! p.s. Love the pencils, too! Oh – and what brings me joy? Well, this week, I taught some of my MBA colleagues how to make an ink-blot art wall. That was fun!
