Brass Candlesticks

Do you ever see things while in a thrift store and you stare at them and stare at them and you think – they would be awesome, but do you really need to spend money on something you don’t necessarily need at that exact time in your life? That would be me in Value Village with one particular thing ….

Brass candlestick holders. I’m a sucker for brass candlestick holders. I’ve been lucky to find some at Value Village over the years, so I have a small collection, but have yet to bust them out for a table setting. If you come across some in your travels, here are some images for inspiration for how you could use them in your own home. And a reminder to me (and, um, Aubrey!) that collecting these are, very, very worthwhile.

They don’t have to be vintage – although, that is the majority of my collection. Places like CB2 have cool ones available. I picked these up (below) and I loooooooove them!

You guys know my love affair with Etsy. So it should come to no surprise that I bought these (below) ones a week ago. Eeeeee! I don’t have them yet but I’m so excited to get them.

(It should come as no surprise either, that I have a “gold” collection on Etsy either)

Anyhow, so when you see brass / gold candlesticks in your travels, preferably while thrifting (because they are so cheap that way!) this post will be a reminder that they will look fab-u-lous.
