Look at what my Mom made me with some of the acorns that we collected at the cottage on Thanksgiving….
She took a cardboard cone from the craft store, painted it brown on the outside and glue gunned the acorns to the outside. So simple, yet so gorgeous. My favourite part is the little acorn on the top – isn’t that hilarious!?
If you follow my tweets on twitter you will have read that shortly after my original post on the wreath project I was going to do with acorns, animals attacked my stash on the front porch. So, I was left with a small percentage of what I collected at the cottage. With the remaining nuts my Mom came up with this awesome craft.

November 17, 2010 at 4:48 pmThat is so cute! I had some big crafty acorn plans until my mom {also a crafty gal} told me about a wormy acorn experience… so I hope your acorns stay worm free and you get to enjoy your cute little tree all season!
