Building privacy Screens, Step 2

With weather and Oscar co-operating yesterday, Aubrey got the majority of manual labour completed on the 3 privacy screens. A few days ago he dug the holes for the poles with a manual auger (not fun, and I recommend renting a powered one if you’re doing a lot of posts) and yesterday he spent setting the 4×4 posts into concrete.

So it’s a little sneek peek at where we are at with the project. There will be 3 screens, and they will hide a good portion of the chain link fence, and I’m going to allow greenery fill in the remaining spaces in between.  (The poles have to be leveled off, so ignore the fact that they are different heights!)

All your projects must be harder to tackle with the little one! Can't wait to see it done.

I really love your blog and seeing all your projects. You have so many great ideas. I just moved into a brand new house and the yards are wide open, which I love, but seeing your backyard ideas makes me want to fence mine in for my own secret place!
