The perfect colour for privacy screens…

I’m going to show you in the upcoming weeks the reveal of the back studio / garage build (the exterior of it at least). It was a big project and we’re still working on minor additions to the exterior. Part of the exterior was building a semi privacy screen much like we have elsewhere in the garden. But I’ve started to think we need to paint or, do a dark stain. I drive by this house often in our neighbourhood and LOVE the colour of the lattice. I almost knocked on their door to ask what colour it was, and if they didn’t know, I was going to be prepared with my paint decks, ready to colour match. It’s the perfect colour for a fence. Not too light, not overly dark. Kind of has some green undertones, which is perfect when you have trees. I decided to post it to my facebook wall.

Within an hour or so, I had two people saying it looked like Copley Gray by Benjamin Moore.  HC-104.

Above it looks more gray-gray than green–gray as I see it in person. But I think it’s a gorgeous colour to compliment our garage that is Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore.  (You can see our garage in the picture above) Almost there folks. Almost there.
